To mark Mental Health Awareness Week 2025, we’re pleased to launch a new wellbeing app, Wellbeing at Work, designed to aid our community of workers who support our clients’ projects and business operations.
Mental health and wellbeing are of significant importance and is something we believed should be prioritised each and every day.
The new app offers a wide-reaching approach to overall health and wellbeing - whether our workers are seeking guidance on managing stress, want to improve their health, or gain greater control over their finances. Wellbeing, health and money are all areas of life that have an impact on mental health, which can change over time and fluctuate depending on home and work life demands. Wellbeing at Work is now available for our workers to use as a handy tool to navigate life’s challenges.
What is the Wellbeing at Work app?
Wellbeing at Work is a free to access resource we’re making available to our workers, which can easily be saved on their mobiles for quick access.
What’s included in the Wellbeing at Work app?
There are dedicated areas for wellbeing, health and money, that provide practical advice and signpost further resources – including free to access services and charities that are always available for immediate support.
In the Your Wellbeing section, you'll find tools and techniques to help you manage your mental health, cope with stress, and cultivate a positive mindset. From mindfulness exercises to counselling resources
The Your Health section is dedicated to promoting a healthy lifestyle. Here, you'll find guidance on nutrition, exercise, sleep, and managing chronic conditions. We've partnered with leading experts to provide the latest information and best practices for maintaining optimal physical health.
Finally, the Your Money section is designed to help you take control of your finances. Whether you're looking to create a budget, manage debt, or plan for the future, our worker wellbeing app provides valuable resources and calculators to help you make informed decisions.
Why are we launching the Wellbeing at Work app?
We’re always keen to explore how we can further support our workers, and this new app provides us a key place to communicate with our wider community, whilst ensuring we can share valuable resources with them.
In 2022 we were pleased to sign up as a company supporter of the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity and are proud to renew this membership each year as a token of our thanks for the invaluable mental health support they provide construction workers and their families every day. It’s a fantastic charity that makes a significant impact in our industry sector, and it’s inspired our own mental health awareness journey.
Workers who download the app will see signposting to the range of services the Lighthouse team can provide, as we encourage anyone in need of support to reach out to them for help.
How can you workers access the Wellbeing at Work app?
To gain access to the Wellbeing at Work app simply submit a request below, using the email address that you use for your payslip or invoice management.
Once we’ve verified you’re an NRL worker, you’ll receive an email with a link to the Wellbeing at Work app. You can use this link directly to access the app on any laptop, computer, mobile or tablet device. If you’re using a mobile phone, we recommend selecting the option to save the app to your home screen, and be sure to enable notifications so we can alert you when new content is added to the app.
