On behalf of our client, NRL Recruitment are looking for a Distribution Team Leader, for work based in either Walkden or Carrington Greater Manchester.

Location: Walkden or Carrington

Hours: 47 p/w

Rate: £15.96p/h + Holiday Pay = £18.36p/h PAYE  (equivalent to £39k gross salary)

Duration: Initially 6 months 25/08/2025 - 24/02/2026 -  (with potential for becoming permanent in future, subject to performance and business needs).

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of Distribution with working knowledge of Transport Legislation

  • Experience in Supervising a team

  • Experience of building relationships with Industrial Relations Representatives

  • Transport Manager Certificate Professional Competence is preferred but not essential

  • Driver Licence /ADR and Driver CPC is preferred but not essential

  • Must be proficient in MS Office, (training will be provided for other software).

  • A high commitment to safety standards, demonstrating strong leadership  in adhering to safety protocols.
