NRL are currently recruiting for a permanent Executive Assistant.

Ask yourself:

Do you want to work for a leading global company on a journey to net zero emissions? A company who are accelerating growth in renewables, embracing the need for change and new opportunities that lie within the transition of the global energy markets?

NRL are very proud to be working with a company taking a leading role in Energy Transition, Equinor.

Equinor is a broad energy company with ambitions to become a global offshore wind major. We have a value driven strategy underpinned by creating scale in regional clusters.

The UK Government has an ambition to achieve 40GW of offshore wind by 2030, and has been advised by the Climate Change Committee that in order to reach net zero, up to 100GW of offshore wind will be needed by 2050.

Equinor is a global leader in offshore wind and is using its expertise in offshore energy to drive forward innovation in the North Sea, and help the UK reach its net zero targets. Our Renewables North Sea Region (REN NOS) business cluster is home to our UK offshore wind operations and development activity for the region.

It is essential that our SVP, Renewables North Sea has a trusted partner to support all aspects of their busy role and Leadership.
The purpose of this newly created position is to provide administrative support for SVP REN North Sea, leadership team and broader management team.

This unique opportunity is an exciting chance to be the face of renewables within the UK.

What Equinor’s staff say:

“My absolute favourite thing about working for Equinor is the people I get to interact with. The people in my team are highly skilled, and I take the opportunity to learn from them every day”.

“I think it is an exciting time to be working in the energy industry, given the challenges associated with climate change. I believe in Equinor's ambition to shape a sustainable energy future and I want to be part of the journey”.

Duties will include:
Support and partner North Sea SVP daily
Fulfil administrative tasks for the SVP such as rigorous diary management, travel arrangements and expense processing
Arrange and coordinate other meeting logistics and briefs to ensure that the SVP is prepared for both external and internal meetings
Coordinate and contribute to the organisation of NOS Management Committee and other management meetings, workshops, and events across Renewables UK locations (and elsewhere) as required
NOS MC meetings: Coordinate and prepare meeting agendas, verifying documentation, distributing pre-read, and managing all practicalities including inviting presenters
Close collaboration with the SVP’s Management Committee and other parts of the organisation to facilitate the day-to-day running of the SVP office
Contribute to information management, including structuring, establishing, and maintaining online collaboration tools
Requisitioning of services, follow-up deliverables (services) and control of invoices
Focal point for general administrative matters to support the Renewables Business Area in the UK

Who are we looking for?
An exceptional candidate with a can-do attitude
Change ambassador
Influential with an experience of interacting with a variety of key stakeholders
Digitally smart
You might not have experience within renewables, but you will have a passion for energy transition
