Reporting to: International Development Director
Location: Woking

Purpose of the Role:
To manage international assignment support activity, compliance, and associated administration for non-UK based contractors. Keeping a constant focus on accuracy, innovation and technical excellence whilst always ensuring high levels of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead task allocation within the International Compliance Team to ensure high levels of support to external clients, internal recruitment teams and candidates working in foreign jurisdictions.

  • Manage incoming requests from external clients, and give advice on new territories, in-country compliance requirements, legislation, pitfalls etc.

  • Manage the on-boarding of international contractors and deliver ongoing care during their placement to ensure compliance and high levels of support.

  • Manage contractor audits to ensure compliance across all operating regions.

  • Oversee international payroll, contractor pay queries, purchase orders etc.

  • Deliver client reports and manage data enquiries

  • Support the International Development Director with ad hoc tasks

  • Create new, or develop existing, country processes to ensure a high level of readiness to deliver swift turnarounds on client requirements.

  • Manage and develop the suite of compliance documentation i.e., candidate on-boarding questionnaires, supplier assessments, country specific guides etc.

  • Deliver compliance workshops and training, primarily for internal teams and sometimes for external clients, to upskill recruitment consultants. Workshops & training will cover country specific compliance processes / common pitfalls when placing candidates abroad.

  • Responsible for international in-country partners and 2nd tier suppliers, managing due diligence, communications as well as reviewing and monitoring compliance. Also be responsible for managing poor performance or non-delivery of agreed services.

  • Oversee legislative changes by territory, flag to the International Director and implement agreed changes into current procedures.

  • Responsible for conducting performance reviews of the international compliance team and allocate tasks in line with our company policy and values.
