HVAC Project Engineer/Manager – North East England – May 2021 
 
A multi-award-winning building services contractor has an exciting opportunity for a HVAC Engineer or Manager to join their business in the North East of England

Responsibilities: 
  • To assist in the preparation of project briefs, procurement, project implementation, contract administration, technical and operational commissioning  
  • Provide regular management reports on progress, cost, project issues, risk management, mitigation measures and resolution
  • Administer construction and other contracts, procure and manage external consultants and contractors assisting in the delivery of projects 
  • Manage all contract documentation, project finances, expenditure and change control monitoring 
  • To ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety Legislation and audit projects regularly
What you will need: 
  • Higher national qualification in a HVAC building services or related discipline as a minimum
  • Demonstrate experience of managing the HVAC/ductwork discipline on construction projects on all RIBA stages of work from inception to completion
  • Ideally have worked for a specialist HVAC sub-contractor
  • Worked within the healthcare sector is preferable but not essential
  • An in-depth technical knowledge and understanding of building construction
  • Worked in a live estates environment/setting would be advantageous but not essential
  • Must reside in the north east of England
