Local Liaison - Talacre (Wales) for our Liverpool Bay project
Purpose of the position: As Local Liaison you will join our ENI Liverpool Bay Project (Decommissioning & Carbon Capture and Storage) based in Talacre, Wales. You will manage the relationships with local stakeholders (population and authorities) to ensure a smooth progress in the project tasks. You will be the main point of contact to assist representatives in responding to their concerns and requests (related to noise, traffic and other inconveniences caused).
Responsibilities:
- Address inter-organizational issues raised by local stakeholders to the relevant department to propose an action plan
- Manage complaints raised by local community and represent the company during meetings to propose a compromise
- Promote good relations with local government and other entities affected by our project
- Contact the local immigration organizations and other authorities for the issue of VISAs or other permits necessary to work in the country
- Liaise with the local work regulation organizations and other offices to facilitate the local work activities
- Collect the necessary data to implement the local logistics allowing the local activities to be open as required
- Prepare adequate reporting for business strategic decisions
- Cooperate with other functions to support sustainability initiatives and promotion programs
- Contribute to the local development and dissemination of sustainability culture
What are we looking for?
- Experience: 6 years in activities related to public relations with local authorities and process authorizations requests with capability to manage complaints associated with project activities
- Languages: English, Welsh would be a plus
- Technical skills: knowledge of Welsh authorities and authorization process
