NRL are currently recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to work on a contract basis for one of our leading clients. Location - Leicester Radar Road - will be working from home but training will be required on site and occasional site days. IR35 - inside determination.

About The Role:
  • To support the Project Accounting function in the processing of a variety of Project financial and Commercial transactions.
  • To undertake additional ad hoc financial duties as requested such as: Assisting in the month end and forecasting process. Preparing month end journals, Payment Application, Project forecast, contract reporting. Assisting in customer Audits. Assist in Documenting and Improving processes. Analysis and review of cost and time bookings.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • In accordance with our certification to the standards ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007, each employee will comply with and contribute to the effective implementation of the current International Group Airports Division.

  • Project start-up according to the Contract/PO/WPEP.
  • Setting up Projects in SAP according to budgets, job cost numbers.
  • Project reviews with Project Managers regarding Estimates to Complete.
  • Review all cash forecast with the Project Team.
  • Create and update Project Financial Statements Reports for Contract Review.
  • Create Project Payment Applications.
  • Preparing Financial Statements for Client.
  • Liaising with Clients in order to get Payment Application agreed.
  • Final accounts to be agreed with Client.
  • Project audits to be carried out with the Client according to the Contract.
  • Provide supporting documentation for Application for payment.
  • Liaising with the Client regarding any Project issues.
  • Processing of additional hours timesheets.
  • Raising and resolving invoice queries, interacting with Project Managers, Procurement, other Airport Finance teams as well as external Suppliers.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Monthend task/journals/Wip cals/BPC upload
  • Assisting in cost and project reporting.
What You Will Need:
  • QBE/ACCA/CIMA/AAT
  • SAP experience
    Month-end and balance sheet experience
  • Use of the MS Excel and Microsoft Dynamics
  • Ability to plan and organise multiple workload requirements
  • Ability to prioritise work load and deliver to set deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Present a professional image in representing the company at all times.
  • Excellent written and numeracy skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, at all levels internally and with suppliers.
  • Provide support to other team members and be respectful of others and their opinions.

  • Previous Project Accounting experience 
  • Full airside pass or the ability to obtain one
