O&M Engineer - Stavanger, Norway


One year duration

We are looking for a person with high interests in maintenance engineering and a wide range of capabilities to support the project operation and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in maintenance engineering, combined with a solid understanding of equipment, and the ability to deliver work in a timely and structured manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the project operation and maintenance team.

  • Perform maintenance engineering tasks and ensure equipment functionality.

  • Deliver work within deadlines and maintain structured processes.

  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.

Key Deliverables:

  • Perform Technical Hierarchy, Consequence Analysis.

  • FMECA Analysis.

  • Perform Workshops on Consequence Analysis and FMECA.

  • Develop Maintenance Program.

  • Input to Maintenance Strategy and Spare Part Strategy.

  • GMC (Generic Maintenance Concepts).

  • Barrier Management / Assurance Tasks.

  • Operating & Maintenance Procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of experience in maintenance engineering.

  • Strong understanding of equipment and maintenance processes.

  • Proven ability to deliver work on time and in a structured manner.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Knowledge of Norsok Z-008, ISO 14224.

  • Experience in operation and maintenance of equipment (like troubleshooting, servicing, and repair of mechanical equipment).

Language skills: Both Norwegian and English are required.

Software requirements: MS Office and CMMS (SAP, MAXIMO, IFS or similar).
