- Apply RICS principles and methodologies for cost management and valuation of work in construction projects.
- Prepare and maintain the overall project budget, including quantification and valuation of all work items.
- Prepare and analyze measurements of executed work, verifying on-site compliance with plans and specifications.
- Review and validate work certifications submitted by contractors, ensuring prices and quantities are correct. On-site checks.
- Negotiate and agree on prices for additional work or modifications with contractors, applying RICS procedures.
- Monitor and control project costs, identifying deviations and proposing corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed cost reports and financial projections, in line with Project Management team requirements.
- Collaborate with the procurement team in evaluating bids and selecting suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with RICS procedures and regulations in project cost management.
Requirements:
- Education: University degree in Engineering, Architecture, or similar.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost management and work valuation in industrial construction projects.
- Experience in cost control for construction projects (ideally industrial construction).
- Experience using Presto (cost management tool).
- Willingness to relocate to Zaragoza.
- Languages: High level of English.
