  • Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flows, ensuring cost controls are met.
  • Support the project delivery teams with contract advice and risk management.
  • Prepare and present CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations) and commercial reports.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure financial clarity and performance.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior commercial staff as required.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the Transmission & Distribution or Power sector.
  • Strong background in High Voltage (HV) project environments (132kV to 400kV preferred).
  • Portfolio or programme management experience across multiple concurrent projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of NEC (3 or 4) and other relevant contract frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Professional membership (e.g., RICS, CICES) desirable but not essential.
  • Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
Additional information:
  • Hybrid Working - 2/3 days week in the office
  • 40 hours per week
  • LTD pay structure available
