The Role
This is a key role, with multi discipline and organisation interface responsibility, and will require the ability to provide risk management leadership, advice and guidance to the client, contractor and Delivery Partner (DP).
This role reports under the sub-programme controls functions and is required to engage with senior leadership for all stakeholders.
Responsibilities will include:
- Heading up the risk management function
- Line managing and coordinating other assigned risk personnel (who may not be from Jacobs)
- Reviewing, updating (as required) & implementing risk management procedures
- Attending sub-programme and project meetings, capturing risks at all stages and advising on appropriate treatment plans and actions
- Facilitating risk workshops/reviews throughout the project lifecycle
- Developing and managing risk registers for each project within the risk database ensuring ongoing maintenance and analysis
- Managing the risk data base, assuring validity and quality of data captured
- Updating of risks with multiple stakeholders and risk owners (client, contractor, delivery team)
- Undertaking qualitative / quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis
- Analysing and reporting the likelihood of success for project schedules linking risk and uncertainty to the tasks to be undertaken
- Facilitating the escalation of information on risks to the appropriate levels
- Supporting the knowledge sharing of risks and opportunities across the portfolio of projects ensuring that lessons are learnt
- Engaging in the monthly reporting process through risk analysis and risk tools
- Training new starters on the risk requirements and process
You will need:
- Due to the security nature of the role, you will need to be British born and currently SC cleared.
