A well-established tier one M&E contractor has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Mechanical Estimator or Senior Mechanical Estimator to join their business in the Northeast.
About the Role:
- You will be working alongside a highly experienced estimator who will provide you with first-class training in pricing up mechanical building services packages within the commercial and light industrial sectors
- Training in appraising tender documents, preparing sub-contract and material enquiries, producing bills of quantities and risk and value management
- To help continue the company’s growth you will work on a range of building services projects and contribute to their success
- You will have a continuous workflow supported by the company’s diverse client base and healthy book order
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career in estimating within a Building Services contractor and have passion for the Construction industry
- To have served your time in a recognised mechanical building services trade or have a mechanical engineering qualification
- Valuable experience working for a mechanical building services contractor in any role
- Must come from a construction background and have site and industry knowledge
- Supervisory experience is preferable, but not essential
- Successful applicants will have an innovative approach to work and will be motivated to contribute to the growth of the company
- Excellent organisation and planning skills
- Must be computer literate, ideally Microsoft office skills and a high attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and an ability to form long lasting relationships
- Full UK driving licence or working towards
- First-class training, and career development
