Location: Westlakes, Cumbria (4 days office‑based, Fridays WFH)

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00–16:30

Site Visits: Occasional travel to Sellafield (CA20)


We are looking to hire up to three CAD Designers to support ongoing project work within a specialist interior fit‑out and building systems environment.

This role is ideal for candidates with a civil, structural, or architectural background who are confident working with CAD and Revit, and familiar with elements such as dry lining, partition walls, and structural steelwork.

 

About the Role

You’ll be producing accurate 2D and 3D drawings, supporting design coordination, and helping develop buildable solutions for complex interior and structural interfaces. The project involves a box‑type structure with steelwork, plasterboard cladding, and partition systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings
  • Convert 3D models into 2D CAD outputs
  • Develop practical, buildable design solutions
  • Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams
  • Support design and engineering teams with technical documentation

 

Skills & Experience

  • Strong AutoCAD experience (essential)
  • Revit or Inventor experience (desirable)
  • Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
  • Experience with dry lining, partitions, ceilings, raised floors, or façade interfaces
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

 

Qualifications

  • HND/Degree in a relevant technical discipline (preferred but not essential)
  • CAD certification beneficial
