Summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Chemical Sales Engineer to join a recognised industry leader in Cairo, Egypt. This position is ideal for a driven professional with solid chemical or technical sales experience in the oil and gas sector, who enjoys building client relationships and delivering technical solutions that make a difference.

Location and Working Pattern Cairo, Egypt – Full-time role with frequent travel to customer sites and participation in industry events.

Responsibilities
  • Drive sales to meet and exceed revenue targets across chemical product lines.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify and acquire new business opportunities in the oil and gas sector.
  • Translate technical requirements into tailored chemical solutions for clients.
  • Produce detailed technical and commercial proposals to support customer needs.
  • Represent the company at client meetings and industry events, ensuring a professional image.
Must-have Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or a related discipline.
  • 6–10 years of experience in chemical or technical sales, ideally within the oil and gas sector.
  • Strong understanding of chemical products and industrial applications.
  • Competence with CRM software and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to negotiate effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capability.
Nice-to-have Skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Customer-focused approach with strong business acumen.
