Electrical Engineer
An Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing the electrical system for projects such as industrial and residential buildings. Working as an Electrical Engineer you’ll need to be able to manage complex coding and different types of equipment when it comes to working on electrical systems. Electrical Engineers will also have a good technical knowledge of relevant computer software and hardware.
The role of an Electrical Engineer includes using problem solving skills and creativity to design, develop and maintain electronic systems. As well a thinking on their feet to come up with solutions to problems as they arise, that adhere to industry regulations.An Electrical Engineer will typically be a highly qualified individual with a Bachelor Degree, Master's Degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering. Specific job titles can range from Senior Electrical Engineer to Design Engineer, and Electrical Engineers are required across a range of sectors including conventional power, infrastructure, construction and the built environment.
