Billing Controller – Glasshouse, Wigan

The NRL Group are hiring for a Billing Controller in Wigan, to work in the Finance department of their support office.

Purpose of the role:

  • To run the billing cycle each week/month generating invoices.

  • Reconcile the self-bill clients.

  • Responsible for running the invoices each week for all clients in a timely fashion ensuring they are correct as per client expectations. This will include any bespoke billing requirements as per the instructions.

  • To reconcile self-bill clients to ensure our invoices are consistent with the client self-billing requirement - good Excel skills will be required for this.

  • Organised and in control of the billing mailbox, ensuring all self-bills are reconciled in a timely manner.

  • Liaise with Credit Control & Payroll teams to ensure all queries/issues are dealt with in a timely fashion.

  • Uploading and checking invoice status via client portals.

  • Carry out client account reconciliations as required.
