Our client has a new opportunity for an HR Advisor - Staff position - Grangemouth.

About the role:
  • Reporting to the HR & L&D Team Leader, the HR Adviser will partner closely with department and line managers to build capabilities, plan and manage talent and develop approaches that achieve shared organisational objectives. They are responsible for designing and delivering HR practices to accomplish strategy and coach business leaders to behave in a way that supports the business objectives and decision-making.
  • The HR Adviser will be working alongside a small team of multi-disciplined HR and L&D professionals.
What you will need:
  • Providing support to line managers and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Coach and support leaders at all levels of the organisation. 
  • Develop, review and implement HR policies in line with current legislation.
  • Assist in the building of strong talent pipelines and managing recruitment up to executive level.
  • Design and deliver succession planning strategies in order to maintain the correct level of competence, skill and talent to support current and future business deliverables.
  • Support the manpower plan across the site to ensure that headcount and fixed are managed.
  • Support the delivery of key messages to all levels of the business. 
  • It is essential that the candidate is working as an HR adviser and has a strong generalist background.
  • Key Skills and Experience:
  • Preferably degree qualified with 5 years experience in an adviser or consultant role.
  • Experience of managing complex ER cases.
  • Have project management experience and have supported or led large change initiatives.
  • HR systems knowledge
  • Able to assimilate and analyse complex data in order to provide accurate information for the purpose of reporting, advising and guiding the business.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law able to design and implement clear and consistent policies.
  • Experience within manufacturing and/or a unionised environment would be preferable.
