Mobile Water Treatment Technician T2

NRL is working in partnership with a leading provider of technical, facilities management, regeneration, and energy services. As such NRL are currently recruiting for a Mobile Water Treatment Technician (Tier 2) to join our client’s team on a permanent basis, to be based out of a modern and contemporary office in Reading. 

About the Role:

As the Mobile Water Treatment Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective operation of water treatment systems across various sites. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits using appropriate tools and systems.
  • Diagnosing and resolving faults efficiently to maintain optimal system performance.
  • Performing closed water system analytical tests, interpreting results, and carrying out necessary remediation works.
What You Will Need:
  • City & Guilds or NVQ (or equivalent) relevant to the role and Tier grading.
  • Proven post-qualification experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of water treatment systems and processes.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and guidance, including:
    • Water Supply Regulations / Byelaws
    • L8 ACOP
    • HSG274
    • Other applicable industry standards
Skills & Requirements:
  • Excellent fault diagnosis and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret water analysis results and implement corrective actions.
  • Full, valid UK driving licence (essential for mobile role).
