NRL are currently recruiting for a Project Manager with Business Change and Implementation experience to work with a rail client on a contract until the end of July. The office is based in Milton Keynes however this role could be worked remotely.

 Role Responsibilities:
  • Project Manager to support the implementation of a planning & admin system for training (which is already in flight).
  • Change Management - leading various successful change initiatives, assessing transformation, building change management strategies, highly influential bringing stakeholders along with the change process building momentum and credibility. Early stakeholder engagement ensuring the business is ready and users are comfortable with change, adapting change management styles so change is manageable for all stakeholders/users.
  • Problem Solving - taking initiative to identify problems, excellent analytical skills, quickly finding solutions and suggesting business improvements breaking down complicated issues and derive up with logical judgements and solutions.
  • Project Governance and Controls – Agreeing programme governance structures. Enterprise Risk management minimising threats and maximising opportunities aligning with internal controls and strategic planning, RAID reviews, assessing risks and assigning mitigations based on the associated costs and business benefits. Creating robust and realistic cost and resource loaded project plans, tracking and reporting whilst managing project milestones and status reporting providing greater controls. Ensuring projects are run and delivered to industry standard and follow PMO methodology, carrying out quality assurance checks throughout project lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Management - proficient communication ability to simplify and share complex technical issues. Strong Influencing and negotiating skills confident and effective engagement and communication at all levels.
What you will need:
  • Prince 2 or equivalent background desired.
  • NR & training experience would help for a quick start.
  • Experience with delivering business change elements for IT project would also be beneficial.
