NRL are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Requirements Administrator to work on a contract basis for one of our leading nuclear clients in Warrington.
About The Role:
To facilitate the successful delivery of requirements for several projects across the Sellafield Site.
To ensure project delivery scope is managed appropriately to meet customer requirements.
To implement the newly established V&V and handover process consistently to both in flight projects and establish the process on new projects across the portfolio.
This person must be capable of working without direct supervision and have the ability to translate a client requirement into a meaningful engineering solution.
To manage the administrative requirements on engineering projects, ensuring they are fully documented and traceable in line with the Requirements Management Plan.
Capture all stakeholder requirements.
Validate requirements with respect to Stakeholder Requirements - both internal and external.
Review Requirements with Subject Matter Experts and Test Engineers
Provide status reports for requirements capture validation and verification.
Create and maintain product specification documents for internal and customer approval.
Liaise with Engineering Design / Operating Unit configurator to maintain product configuration and maintenance of the drawing register/release schedules for major projects.
Liaise with business functions to support design development activities in a technical admin capacity.
Be able to communicate efficiently and clearly with internal project team members, supply chain designers and customers.
Cascade and promote V&V and Handover process to wider program and other departments
Compile LfE information and relay to central Knowledge Management & Learning team, as well as throughout the SSEP/S&R projects
Provide administrative support for the SL IBM Rational DOORS requirement management database
Distribute documents as requested
Manage and support audit & surveillances.
Support the project through internal audits, ONR interventions and any other reviews.
Attend progress meetings, taking technical meeting minutes, capturing key decisions and actions where required.
What You Will Need:
Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Access).
Ability to create and maintain requirements Documentation and Reports, generate simple schedules and analyze large volumes of data.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively and establish good working relationships across departments.
An Analytical person who is self-reliant, pro-active with excellent problem-solving skills
Preferential Experience:
2 years’ experience working in a project support type of role.
Familiar with AXIOM and Sellafield project delivery procedures.
4 years requirements experience.
