About the Opportunity

NRL is excited to be recruiting a Quality Engineer for our leading client, supporting a major nuclear infrastructure programme. This is a pivotal role offering significant career growth within one of the UK’s most important energy projects. As part of a dynamic, embedded team, you’ll play a key role in driving exceptional quality standards throughout the entire project lifecycle, helping to shape the future of clean energy.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Quality Engineer, you’ll:

  • Manage the non-conformance process, including root cause analysis and coordination of corrective actions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the project’s Integrated Management System (IMS) and quality culture.
  • Review and provide input on quality documentation across the project.
  • Help develop audit plans and support audit delivery and follow-up activities.
  • Deliver or support quality-related training sessions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators related to quality and report findings.
  • Prepare data and insights for project Management Reviews.
 

What You’ll Need

  • A degree or equivalent in engineering, science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Solid understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 19443:2018 standards.
  • Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems in a regulated industry.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement tools such as 8D methodology.
  • Experience in documentation control and non-conformance tracking.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
