Job Description:
The resourcing team is responsible for delivering a professional and responsive recruitment and selection service to the entire business. They operate in an extremely busy environment where they deliver volume hiring across operations and corporate functions, at all levels, nationally.

Remote but ideally near Birmingham for travel into the office as and when required.

We are looking for a Resourcing Manager for to join the team and be responsible for supporting Corporate Functions. You’ll have a specific focus on finance hires. Typically, you’ll work on 15-25 vacancies at any one time.

As a Resourcing Manager, you’ll typically be involved in carrying out the following activities:
  • Driving the company’s brand perception with our target finance community. This will include activities such as D&I, employee engagement and communicating our employee value proposition (EVP).
  • Working closely with your stakeholders to deliver a quality recruitment service. This includes determining the role to be recruited, key skills and accountabilities and writing compelling advertisements which drive responses via job boards and social media.
  • Managing the hiring process from end-to-end, which includes placing advertisements, acknowledging all responses, screening candidates against key criteria and presenting shortlists to hiring managers.
  • You’ll be as hands on as your hiring managers need you to be. Some are experienced recruiters and happy to manage the process themselves. In these instances, you’ll ensure they are following the correct processes, acting impartially and providing feedback in a timely manner. For those requiring additional support, you’ll join them in interviews, taking notes and providing feedback where required. Similarly, you may challenge where required to ensure we’re hiring the best people for the business.
  • Recommending different hiring strategies and able to advise on the best route to market. This could include direct advertising, social media targeting, executive search or on rare occasions agencies.
  • Scheduling interviews and feedback calls is an important part of the role, so you’ll need to be organised, and able to plan your workload effectively. You’ll also ensure all hiring paperwork is completed so we can seamlessly onboard new hires.
  • Interviewing internal applicants for promotion roles is part of this role also. It would help if you’re aware of how L&D works with recruitment to make recommendations on how we can support and advance internal colleagues through mentoring, training and development.
  • Suggesting and implementing ideas which make us more effective as a team will be part of your job and from time to time you may be involved in projects which support talent acquisition.
  • Managing multiple recruitment campaigns at different stages of their life-cycle. The role can be incredibly busy and you’ll need to be able to manage and control all vacancies and candidates.
  • Supporting advisors in the team by role modelling our core behaviours and sharing your experiences in a way which improves our ability to deliver recruitment at pace.
  • You’ll also be involved in different projects based on your experiences.
