Job Title: Technical Project Engineer
Location: Lisburn, Northern Ireland
Work Hours:
Monday to Friday
7.5 hours/day
Pay Rate: £23 per hour
Role Overview:
The Technical Project Engineer works closely with the Project Manager to ensure all technical aspects of the customer project are delivered on time, on budget, and to the required quality. The role involves design review participation and coordination of technical interfaces with internal and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management: Lead and assess project team performance
Project Planning: Set and manage technical schedules and milestones
Technical Coordination: Interface with internal engineering teams and represent the unit externally
Documentation & Standards: Manage technical documentation and compliance with internal standards
Customer Relations: Maintain client contact and provide technical support
Requirements:
Engineering degree or equivalent
Strong MS Office skills
Excellent interpersonal and proactive behaviours
Fluent in English
Desirable:
Project management & planning experience
HVDC systems & equipment understanding
Site experience in EHV AC or HVDC
Awareness of global HVDC market
Understanding of utility power systems
