Key responsibilities include designing nutritious menus, sourcing ingredients, and supervising cooking processes to maintain strict quality and safety standards. As a Chef you’ll also need to support with supervision of the kitchen team and assist management with planning work rotas.

Companies looking to hire Chefs typically require candidates to have food safety certifications, previous experience (not necessarily in an industrial environment), strong communication and time-management skills. To work in this role as a Chef you’ll need to be able to work under pressure, prepare large volumes of food, adhere to all food hygiene practices and you may be called upon to manage the food budget.

Billingham is a town and civil parish in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham, England. It is situated to the south east of Stockton on Tees, on the north bank of the River Tees.
