​Pipefitter

A pipefitter is responsible for building, installing, and repairing piping systems. A pipefitter must be able understand blueprints and inspect their worksite to ensure a safe working environment and remove obstructions.

A pipefitter must be able to cut, thread, bend and connect pipes, as well as installing and securing them. Pipefitters must work carefully so they install and repair pipes so that they prevent leaks. Pipefitters generally work with metal pipes, non-metal pipes, tubes, and fittings.

A Pipefitter must be qualified to level 3 standard or have completed an apprenticeship. They may be required to hold a CSCS or Skillscard.

Aberdeen

Aberdeen is the third post populous city in Scotland with an estimated population of around a quarter of a million people. Aberdeen is home to vast shorelines, tons of history and beautiful landscapes while the city centre has a vibrant art scene and an abundance of restaurants and bars. Aberdeen can be accessed by train or road from Glasgow or Edinburgh at around a 2.5 hour drive. Aberdeen also has it's own international airport that provides access to the UK and the rest of the world.
