NRL are recruiting for experienced 4D Planners to support long-term infrastructure and construction programmes across the UK. Whether your expertise lies in BIM standards, model coordination, or 4D simulation—this is your opportunity to drive innovation in digital construction.

Your Role:
We’re hiring for experienced 4D Planners who can:

  • Develop and manage 4D models using Synchro or similar tools

  • Coordinate and clash detect models in Navisworks, ensuring accuracy and constructability

  • Apply and enforce ISO 19650 standards, including naming conventions, data structuring, and lifecycle information management

  • Use Autodesk RevitAutoCAD, and ideally Recap to support model development and review

  • Present and evidence your work during project sessions, showcasing clarity and technical depth

  • Train individuals and teams in BIM standards and digital workflows, adapting to varying skill levels

You’ll need to bring:

  • Strong experience in BIM and 4D planning

  • Proficiency in Navisworks and Autodesk tools (Revit, AutoCAD; Recap desirable)

  • Deep understanding of ISO 19650 and project information management

  • Experience training others and rolling out digital standards

  • Ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams and project phases

Bonus Points For:

  • Practical construction knowledge, especially if from a design background

  • Experience on major civils projects (e.g. highways, rail, energy)

  • Hands-on experience with Synchro or other 4D tools
