Project: ESF Facility
Join a dynamic engineering team contributing to a high-impact defence project. NRL are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong background in generator and distribution equipment design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed drawings for equipment including generators and distribution systems.
- Lead and support mechanical design of systems and structural components.
- Provide hands-on engineering support during prototype build, testing, and qualification.
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Mechanical Engineering teams during design reviews and configuration management.
- 5+ years in design engineering, with proven experience in generator and distribution equipment projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS.
- Familiar with MOD and Defence Standards for mechanical and power systems.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes for military-grade equipment.
