As our client continues to grow, they are seeking a Cylinder Truck Delivery Driver to join their team. Your position is to provide timely delivery of products to our clients customers in a safe and compliant manner, within agreed processes and procedures. You will embrace our clients core safety values, being the safest gas company in the world. This role provides a front-line business-critical activity, being part of our clients team supporting our continuing customer relationship, which improves retention on a long-term basis.
Roles and Responsibilities
Adherence to all safety rules, processes, and procedures, as safety is a condition of employment.
Pre & Post vehicle check in-line with DVSA guidelines, and standards.
Successful completion of all LearnEx and regulatory training as required.
Maintain tachograph infringement level in-line with DVSA/Traffic commissioner expectations, and standards, whereby regular feedback, monitoring and coaching will be provided to ensure full compliance.
Requirements and Qualifications
Licence minimum category C1 and FLT preferred
Proven driving experience (Where required) and min three years consecutive driving experience.
Valid (in date) ADR Training Certificate 2,3,8 minimum (refreshed every 5 years)
Valid (in date) Driver's CPC Qualification Card (DQC) and evidence of current Periodic Training Status (where applicable)
Proven track record of working within a safety-first environment
Able to work under own initiative with excellent communication skills
Proven track record of ability to drive in a professional manner, and to achieve best in class performance relating to safety and efficiency monitored and supported by digital vehicle data
You will need licence to cover 7.5t
