Nrl are currently recruiting for a  Haulage Helpdesk Coordinator for work based in Colchester until the end of Feb 2023.

About the Role 

● Ensure all Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Policies and Procedures are adhered too

● Liaison with Finance, planning, transport and commercial functions to maximise the opportunity for correct payments and reduction of haulier queries.

● Understand and enhance links with production teams to ensure effective and correct payments to hauliers.

● Understand and refer to relevant systems in order to resolve millage/address issues.

● Receive and report on any haulier complaints or defective or returned materials. Contribute to any relevant root cause analysis.

● Monitor and report excessive waiting time.

● Take personal responsibility for the accurate receipt of haulier issues and the recording of these into the haulier query log. Check, correct special rates were appropriate.

● Inform hauliers of all resolved issues by text/phone to stop recurrences of the same issue arising.

 
Purpose of Role

● To drive and plan cost benefits within bulk haulage and internal supply chain whilst maintaining optimum Customer Service, concentrating upon haulage movements.

● The role requires organisational skills to proactively investigate and resolve “live” haulage issues and concerns generated from the haulage desk to prevent ticket blocks and further haulage queries.

● The role is the key contact between Contract Hauliers and Tarmac in the first instance to ensure Haulier concerns and issues are addressed, and the internal ticket process flows efficiently.
