NRL is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an Intermediate Scheduler to support the delivery of high-profile nuclear infrastructure projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of a major UK energy initiative committed to Net Zero and energy security.
You'll be part of a growing project controls team delivering essential scheduling support across complex civil and nuclear works. Operating within a structured PMO environment, you will ensure efficient planning and reporting aligned with governance processes, while supporting collaborative delivery between internal teams and the supply chain.
This role is ideally suited to an experienced Scheduler looking to expand their career in a fast-paced, high-impact programme environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Liaising with supply chain partners to ensure compliance with schedule-related contract requirements.
- Delivering integrated schedule updates and accurate schedule data for a defined scope of work.
- Supporting schedule progress reporting, including forecast to complete, variance analysis, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Producing high-quality month-end IWS forecasts, baselines, and performance reports.
- Engaging in stakeholder coordination to support successful delivery across multiple interfaces.
- Ensuring scheduling activities are executed in accordance with governance guidelines and project calendars.
What You’ll Need:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in business analysis, accounting, engineering, construction, project management, or a related technical field.
- Solid understanding of planning and scheduling principles.
- Experience using Primavera P6 in a project delivery environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to develop schedules from first principles and assure supplier programmes.
- Familiarity with Schedule Hierarchy, Integration, and Change Control.
- Understanding of contract types such as NEC and FIDIC and how they apply to scheduling activities.
- Prior experience in civil construction management.
- A solutions-driven, deliverable-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
