NRL are currently recruiting for an experienced Junior HR Business Partner to work for one of our leading clients on a contract basis. The role will require attendance at site but will also benefit from being able to work from home. The sites covered are in North Wales, the North West (Preston), Yorkshire (Brighouse) and the North East (Durham) so a home location in Lancashire or Yorkshire would be best suited. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong ER background and be experienced in managing cases through to conclusion. You should demonstrate strong technical knowledge and be able to balance risk, commerciality and pragmatism. Experience of consulting on changes to employment terms would be advantageous as there are two upcoming pieces of work relating to this. This role will have its own client base of a number of accounts so there will be business partnering with the relevant Account Directors. Experience in this type of role would be ideal.

About The Role:
  • The Junior HRBP supports the operational HR team with people focused activities
  • Works in collaboration with others to provide day to day HR service
  • Provides generalist HR advice and works with teams and people managers to support the business.
  • Supports the HRBP and business with HR interventions
  • Supports mobilisations, demobilisations and restructures
  • Supports with HR reports and coordination of HR activities
Responsibilities:
  • Work with managers to execute the people plan within areas of responsibility and within agreed timescales
  • Produces key performance metrics, identify trends, provides insight based on data and with the account lead takes actions to improve performance
  • Manage HR calendar events to ensure 100% compliance with requirements
  • Act as the primary point of contact for managers and employees for policy and procedure.
  • Support people managers in the management of ER cases within areas of responsibility to ensure timely resolution in line with legislation and best practice. Manage and mitigate risk. Maintain accurate records.
  • Supports HRBP with proactive resource planning ensuring solutions are identified in relation to skills gaps, talent attraction, resource mix and talent pipeline strategy
  • Leads projects, including TUPE and business change programmes, taking responsibility for delivery/output as required and agreed with HRBP
What You Will Need:
Qualifications:
  • Ideally CIPD qualified level 5 and working towards level 7
