About the role
- To undertake mechanical fitting activities, repairs and inspections on systems and equipment on all aspects of work completed within the site.
- Completion of all planned preventative maintenance to ensure the department meets the objectives of the business.
- Identification and rectification of all system, manufacture, defects and alterations.
- Ensure that work is carried out in line with current processes and make suggestions on improving systems and processes to increase productivity in accordance with set objectives and timescales.
- Work within all H&S legislation, Safe Systems Of Work and control of work processes.
Experience and knowledge on the following:
- Mechanical Systems and Equipment
- Pressure Systems and Equipment
- Boilers
- Interpretation of engineering drawings
- Maintenance Documentation
- Risk Assessments
- COSHH
- Safe systems of work
- Apprentice Qualified Tradesman with either SVQ, NVQ or City & Guilds
- Must hold FULL Security Clearance used with the last 12 months
