🔧 What You’ll Be DoingAs a key member of the maintenance team, you’ll ensure the facility operates at peak performance by:
- Performing essential front-line tasks like greasing, pump unblocking, and oil changes
- Delivering day-to-day preventative maintenance to avoid costly downtime
- Diagnosing and resolving breakdowns using SCADA systems and fault-finding techniques (mechanical & electrical)
- Collaborating with operations teams to support plant performance
- Maintaining accurate documentation to meet safety, compliance, and quality standards
- Taking on additional responsibilities to support career growth and team goals
- Participating in the call-out rota and being flexible with overtime or shift work
🛠️ What You’ll BringWe’re looking for someone who’s technically sharp, safety-conscious, and ready to make a difference:
- Completed mechanical apprenticeship (HNC in Mechanical Engineering is a plus)
- Experience in AD or similar environments (EFW, Biomass, Water Treatment)
- Skilled in first-line maintenance of pumps, conveyors, and other process equipment
- Confident reading P&IDs and applying fault-finding techniques
- Familiar with SCADA/DCS systems and continuous improvement practices
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and recommend improvements
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and solid IT skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
