NRL is working with a leading national Building services contractor seeking a highly driven Mechanical Project Engineers for major capital projects within the Scottish region
About the role:
To deliver the mechanical engineering elements of Building Services contracts from pre-construction phase to completion within the commercial and light industrial sectors
The operational engineering, management/supervision and performance of the mechanical discipline of the project, including suppliers, subcontractors and labour
Ensure that all activities meet the safety, programme, commissioning, financial and quality objectives of the project.
This role will encompass the technical and commercial management of resources, subcontractors, plant, equipment and material
Work alongside the design team taking the schemes through to construction and commissioning
Attend meetings with clients and third parties
Creation of technical documentation and report
What you will need:
You will have held a similar mechanical role for a minimum of 4 years with a recognised building services contractor
Have a working knowledge of the most up-to-date mechanical guidelines, standards and regulations relating to your discipline
Must have experience of seeing mechanical building services projects through all stages from client specification, tender, estimating, design, procurement, construction to commissioning
Must have proven experience of developing the mechanical programme and preparing the cost plans
Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment, be solutions focused, ambitious and interested in developing your career
Must have a minimum of HNC within Mechanical Engineering and hold SMSTS
Be based in the central belt of Scotland
