Project Controls Lead
Permanent Role | Nuclear Sector | Sizewell B

If you’re ready to lead from the front, this is your opportunity.

We’re hiring a Project Controls Lead to join a major nuclear framework at Sizewell B Power Station. This is a permanent role with real scope—leading estimating and risk management across a high-value portfolio, while managing and mentoring a small team of project controls professionals.

You’ll be the strategic anchor in a fast-paced environment, working closely with cost engineers, planners, and delivery leads. Your focus? Building robust estimates, managing risk exposure, and driving smarter decisions across the lifecycle of nuclear projects.

This isn’t just about oversight—it’s about ownership. You’ll shape how project controls are delivered, evolve tools and processes, and ensure your team is empowered to deliver excellence.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Leading estimating and risk management across a complex project portfolio
  • Managing and developing a team of project controls professionals
  • Collaborating with client stakeholders and technical teams to align controls with delivery goals
  • Driving continuous improvement in tools, reporting, and governance
  • Supporting planning, cost, and performance metrics with intelligent insights
What you’ll bring:
  • Proven experience in estimating and risk management within infrastructure or engineering projects
  • Strong leadership and line management capability
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for precision, improvement, and team development
What’s in it for you:
  • Permanent position with long-term career development
  • Flexible working options (hybrid, part-time, negotiable hours)
  • Competitive package including medical cover, enhanced parental leave, and professional development support
  • A culture that values safety, integrity, and inclusion
If you’re ready to lead with insight, influence outcomes, and help shape the future of nuclear delivery—this is your moment.
