Project Coordinator – RAF Yeovilton
I am looking to recruit a Project Coordinator, with financial experience, to be based at RAF Yeovilton on an initial 6-month contract. The main purpose of the role is to co-ordinate the timely delivery of the Additional Works (Project) programme for area of remit and that all works are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
To coordinate Additional Works activities to deliver all works within the agreed financial budgets and timeframes.
Confer with Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) to agree scope & priorities of work, agree & outline plans, and review management of Additional Works on a regular basis.
Plan, direct and co-ordinate Additional Works activities ensuring effectiveness and value for money
Develop and maintain good working relationships with local key stakeholders associated with Additional Works
Report to the Contract Senior Management Team on the performance and financial outcomes for Additional Works within the contract.
What you will need:
Associate Member of a relevant professional body (e.g., APM)
Be able to input data & use Excel including creating pivot tables
Demonstrable experience of managing a complex Project Management Programme including:
- Leading an operational team to achieve KPIs
- Stakeholder management
- Management of costs
- Planning, directing, and controlling activities
- Proactive performance management of Supply Chain
Experience of influencing Senior Managers
