NRL is proud to be recruiting on behalf of one of our leading clients in the nuclear sector for an exciting opportunity at Sellafield, Cumbria (CA20 1PG).
We’re looking for an experienced Quality Engineer / Inspector to join a major long-term project. With Altrad securing multiple frameworks at Sellafield, this role offers stability, challenge, and career-defining experience.
🔧 Role Details:
  • Hours: 38 hours/week (Monday to Friday)
  • Duration: 12 months+ (long-term frameworks secured)
  • Location: Sellafield, Cumbria

🛠️ Key Responsibilities & Skills:
  • Provide quality engineering support with minimal supervision
  • Strong technical background in painting, welding, or coating inspection
  • Skilled in LTRs (Life Time Records) and ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans)
  • Coordinate work packs, quality plans, and weekly reporting
  • Maintain high standards in Health, Safety & Quality procedures
🎓 Qualifications & Experience:
  • HNC in Mechanical Engineering or ICORR Level 2 / NACE Level 1–3 (Coatings Inspection)
  • ISO9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification (preferred)
  • Previous experience in the nuclear industry is highly desirable
