Quality Engineer

The NRL Group are currently looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a large constuction project. Carrying out the responsibility for the continuous monitoring of the quality activities of partners and subcontractors to ensure that they deliver the quality of product/service as per the code/standards and contractual/project requirements.
 
What will the role consist of? 
  • Develop and implement quality assurance plans and procedures specific to general systems.
  • Review and interpret general designs, schematics, and technical specifications for compliance with nuclear industry standards.
  • Conduct inspections of general installations, including cabling, panels, switchgear, and control systems, to verify compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with the construction team to address non-conformances and deviations.
  • Conduct regular quality audits of processes, materials, and contractors.
  • Ensure traceability and compliance with nuclear quality assurance principles
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with general systems in a nuclear environment.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, mechanical, and nuclear engineers.
  • Provide training to teams and contractors on quality standards and requirements for general systems
  • Monitor quality trends and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve quality processes
 
Qualifications 
  • Engineering or bachelor’s degree
  • ISO9001 lead auditor qualification
 
Professional Experience: 
  • Experience in working in construction site for at least 2 complete projects in quality role
  • Knowledge and experience in general Quality Assurance
  • Experience and knowledge in the use of MS office (word, excel, power point), Adobe Professional, Nero
