We are looking for a skilled professional to support installation activities across various projects. This role involves developing installation strategies, supporting planning and execution, and ensuring safe and efficient handovers. Candidates must have the legal right to work in Norway.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop tailored installation strategies for different project scopes.
Identify and define activities that are dependent on operational shutdowns.
Support the onshore installation manager with method development and technical input.
Contribute to project planning by establishing logical work sequences.
Create detailed method descriptions outlining installation and execution approaches.
Ensure installations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with project goals.
Plan for optimal segmentation of large components like structures and piping.
Prepare lifting and handling procedures for heavy equipment and modules.
Define system boundaries and handover strategies for areas and subsystems.
Collaborate closely with the client’s operations team to align on implementation strategies.
Work with offshore and engineering teams to develop effective tie-in solutions.
Provide input for planning across all project phases—from engineering to final handover.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent certification.
Relevant experience or additional training may compensate for lack of formal education.
Background in the Oil & Gas sector, ideally with experience on the Norwegian continental shelf.
Previous roles as a Method Engineer or Construction Lead in maintenance or EPCI projects.
Experience in early-phase studies and the ability to document strategies clearly.
Familiarity with systems like IFS and SAP is a plus.
Proficiency in both spoken and written Norwegian is required.

Solid understanding of technical and interdisciplinary concepts.
Comfortable working with both internal teams and external clients in Norwegian and English.
