NRL’s client based in Grangemouth is looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join them on a Permanent staff basis.
This role will join one of the UK's largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience. They support clients in the water, power & energy, pharmaceutical, nuclear and food and beverage industries to deliver next generation, value-added engineering solutions.
About the role:
You will build strong, collaborative relationships with clients while ensuring all processes are followed to keep outstanding cash within targets.
Timely cash collection and accurate valuation of work are key, alongside supporting weekly and monthly CVRs.
You will help manage suppliers and subcontractors, drive performance improvements, and oversee Early Warning and Compensation Events.
Our team presents productivity insights to support tender compliance and engages in positive client negotiations around unit rates and KPIs.
By monitoring contract KPIs and implementing smart changes, we continuously enhance performance and deliver value with care and precision.
What you’ll bring:
Degree in Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent experience
Strong commercial awareness and proven success in construction roles
Expert in Standard Forms of Contract and Methods of Measurement
Solid grasp of programming techniques and project controls
Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Brings professionalism, insight, and a collaborative spirit to every project
