Job Title: Turnover Coordinator
Contract: 50hrs per week - Monday - Friday 
Pay: £40-£50ph

Job Summary The Turnover Coordinator is responsible for managing the structured handover of systems from construction through commissioning to operations on a complex Energy-from-Waste facility. This role ensures all turnover documentation, inspections, and quality requirements are complete and accurate to enable safe, efficient, and compliant system readiness and startup.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the handover process for mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and process systems from construction to commissioning teams.
  • Prepare and maintain turnover packages, including mechanical completion certificates, test records, as-built drawings, punch lists, and inspection reports.
  • Schedule and lead system walkdowns with construction, commissioning, QA/QC, and client representatives to verify readiness.
  • Manage punch lists by logging, assigning, and tracking resolution of outstanding items to closure prior to turnover.
  • Maintain turnover tracking tools and databases to monitor progress and report status to management and stakeholders.
  • Act as liaison between construction, commissioning, quality control, and client operations teams to ensure alignment and timely turnover.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout the turnover process.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in turnover or completions coordination on large-scale industrial or energy projects.
  • Understanding of mechanical completion, commissioning, and handover procedures.
  • Familiarity with Energy-from-Waste or similar process/thermal plants is an advantage.
  • Strong organisational and documentation management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings such as P&IDs and electrical schematics.
  • Experience with completions management systems and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
