Galway
Galway is a city of around 80,000 people on the west coast of Ireland. It's known for its music and entertainment, the Fisherman's Wharf, Galway City Museum and the Galway Cathedral, which dates back to 1540.
The engineering sector is growing in Galway with many multinational companies building research centres and headquarters there. The sector is diverse, ranging from large companies and small start-up businesses involved in various aspects of product development, through to manufacturers, maintenance and technical service providers.Galway has an extensive bus network and local trains to Dublin. It also has a ferry port that links Galway to Wales. You can take the train from Dublin's Heuston Station to Galway in about two hours.
