Ireland
Ireland is an island to the northwest of continental Europe. Ireland has been called the Emerald Isle due to its green landscapes. It has a temperate climate and boasts a diverse landscape from rolling hills and mountains to beaches, cliffs, lakes and rivers. The nation's capital and largest city is Dublin which is located on the east coast near the mouth of the River Liffey, home to many famous landmarks such as Temple Bar and Trinity College.
Ireland is a country in the northern Atlantic Ocean that occupies about five-sixths of the island of Ireland. It shares its only land border with Northern Ireland, a part of the United Kingdom, and is otherwise surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, giving it an immensely varied coastline.
