Spotlight on: Project Bluejay

When one of Ireland’s largest contractors needed support recruiting specialist roles for their semiconductor super fabrication project, our experienced Advanced Facilities team were ready to help.

A project of scale

When in it's construction stage, the new facility in Kildare the new manufacturing facility cost over €4 billion to build, with in excess of 5,000 construction workers on site at peak.

Working in partnership with the contractors on site, NRL’s team supported recruitment for the large number of mechanical craft roles to help deliver the semiconductor project.

The project, created one of the most technologically advanced manufacturing locations in Europe. The expansion is the largest private investment ever made in the history of the Irish State and is also one of the largest projects in European history.
