The role of a HSE advisor in the engineering industry is a specialised job that requires great understanding of all types of engineering, as well ashealth & safety.

A HSE Advisor will need to have many skills, experience and formal qualifications to be successful in this role, such as knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, an ability to analyse problems effectively and a sound understanding of risk management. A HSE Advisor will typically hold a NEBOSH, IOSH or similar safety accreditation.
