The Outage Planner implements meticulous planning methodologies to schedule manpower, materials, and machinery for the smooth execution of engineering outages.

Required skills for an Outage Planner include excellent organisational skills, detailed technical understanding, and proficiency in planning software tools such as Primavera P6. Typically, a degree in engineering or a related field is mandatory.

Prior experience as an Outage Planner is highly desirable. Companies look for candidates who have demonstrated experience in planning and managing outage schedules effectively within the engineering sector, along with a proven ability to mitigate potential risks associated with outages.
