About the role:
- Work as part of the project delivery team reporting to the BEMS Project Manager
- Read and understand the BMS scope and the interaction and relation with all M&E specifications
- Raise technical queries / RFI’s
- Use standard documents to produce Schedule of Deliverables, Interface Matrix, Network Architecture Drawings, Functional Design Specifications, Points Schedules, Technical submittals, RFI’s
- Issue design information to panel manufactures and review panel wiring diagrams for accuracy
- Create a project interface matrix to manage any interactions with other packages to ensure scope gaps are covered across project specification documentation
- Understand, oversee and manage production of BMS software and graphics
- Assist the commissioning and point to point testing and Commission Control Panels (CP) to monitor and control mechanical systems
- Ensure any project handover documentation is managed to ensure it is ready at handover
- Ensuring handover of fully operational BMS Systems
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualifications (full electrical apprenticeship or equivalent)
- Proven track record of delivering BMS systems
- Exceptional technical knowledge of BMS
- Experience working with BACNET and or Modbus
- Ability to understand and adapt system software and graphics
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Valid CSCS or ECS site card
- Capable of working in a high pressure and fast-moving environment
- Schneider, Honeywell and Tridium experience desirable, but not essential
