NRL is recruiting a BID Manager for a leading contractor in the Sustainable Energy Sector. Our Client is a unique and innovative solutions provider working in Green Energy and Energy Performance. Due to recent government initiatives surrounding decarbonisation, they are looking to add to their team with a Bid Manager from a construction/engineering background.
About the role:
- Producing successful tender submissions which demonstrate value
- Managing all aspects from pre-tender engagement to submission and handover to project team
- Tendering workflow management
- Providing Key Interface with engineering/project teams for technical input
- Ensuring full governance is undertaken throughout the bid process
- Supply chain management
- Establishing and maintaining key client relation
- Final Approval preparation and presentation of tender
- Have held a similar post for at least 5 years
- Built environment background and preferable with some exposure to mechanical engineering
- Have experience of producing a winning bid strategy
- Worked in a competitive tender scenario and is ideally familiar with competitors
- Energy Saving modelling preferable but not essential
- Used to working in a team environment and can provide innovative ideas and inspiration
- Is highly enthusiastic, creative and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- To be based in the north west of England
