NRL are working with a leading engineering company who now require a CAD Designer to join their team on a permanent basis.
You will be responsible for creating 2D and 3D drawings for offshore wind projects.
Next to that you will be responsible for:
• Identifying clashes and clarifying operational issues ideally in a 3D environment by making 3D visualisations
• Contribute to finding efficient methods for transport and installation of the foundation and wind turbine components;
• Developing and detailing structural steel grillages for the support of the components on the vessel;
• Contributing to standardisation and optimisation of work processes within the drafting office;
• Contributing to the process of design and engineering of project specific installation tools and equipment Job requirements
You must have
• a completed technical education at secondary vocational level;
• Experience as a technical draftsman within the same or similar discipline (heavy lifting / structural steel detailing / vessel deck arrangements / offshore operations) ;
• Extensive experience with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor 3D.
