Role Responsibilities:
- · Lead the automation agenda as part of a multi discipline team tasked with delivering the Change and Incident Management within our client’s offices in Cork
- Identify and scope out elements of work (budget, cost, implementation approach)
- Create projects, form project teams, drive planning & execution, manage Stage Gates and manage project risks, stakeholder management, escalations, & presenting to steering teams
- Define and maintain governance for planning, prioritisation, delivery, and management of automation elements of the project
- Ensure all elements of project work comply with our automation standards
- Where required support the improvement or creation of new automation standards
- Highlights and manages project issues to timely resolution
- Collaboration – Develop strong partnerships across functions to drive measurable operational results. Possess strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively at all levels within the company
- Collaborate with IT to ensure all aspects of change and incident management of manufacturing systems are implemented and maintained.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer, Electrical Engineering, Automation or Science Discipline.
- Previous experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong experience in managing multiple projects, stakeholder management, presenting to leadership teams
- Experience of working with projects that involved automated control systems including e.g. PLC’s, SCADA, Batching Systems etc.
- Experience in Project Management i.e. delivering projects, managing vendors and stakeholders
- Ability to work in/with virtual teams that can be located anywhere in the world.
- Vendor management skills
- Experience in Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (GAMP)
- · MS Office, and MS Project,
- MS SQL or equivalent database management tools
- Strong documentation, presentation and analytical skills
